Visited garage on Monday to get puncture fixed and other tyres checked told by staff that tyre should  be replaced as wall was damaged.Other tyres had short life left in them .Went home and thought about price and service ,phoned garage up next day and booked car in to get other tyres replaced .Very happy with price and service received .Clair you are a breath of fresh air will be back

i have visted a few times over the years, and once again left thanking staff and grateful for fixing my tyres, however due to my recent experience i doubt whether i should have returned after my first visit! i needed one tyre fixed, mechanic told me the other front tyre was "bauld" so i asked him to replace it.  After speaking to my husband, he had checked my tyre tread that morning and it was road legal and not needing replaced at that time - and i had a spare i could have swapped if it was necessary! my husband phoned the staff and questioned what happended - he was advised that tyres approaching 3mm is recommended to be replaced and i had asked mechanic to do it.  Let me make it clear that at no time did the mechanic say this was a recommendation only or imply that the "bauld" tyres were in fact road legal.  The sign behind the shop counter about not carrying out any unnecessary work is rubbish.  Unless you know about cars and exactly what needs done i woudln't trust the staff and would advise getting a second opinion before getting a costly bill.  i wonder how many of the other 5 star reviews may have been mislead due to lack of knowledge.

I was very impressed by the service and courtesy of all staff i came in contact with. Even though you did not have correct tyres in stock i was more then happy with ther temporary solution provided.

Went to Hi-Q Lanark the tyre fitter looked at the tyre and said he could repair it perefectly safely as it was well within the criteria required.

I had a burst tyre miles from home hiq came out fixed my tyre and got me mobile again - thank you very much great service.

We received very good service from hiq lanark, staff were very polite & helpful.

My car was repaired in great time, and at a fraction of the cost my local main dealer were trying to charge me. Very happy and will return again for any future repairs I require.

i have been to hi-q lanark several times and i have yet to come away with the job that i have asked for to be done. i was in recently to get a puncture in my tyre fixed and was informed by the "expert" that it just needed a rim seal valve so i assumed that he knew what he was talking about and left, i only got 20 miles before i checked the tyre again and it was flat! I promptly phoned hi-q to let them know that it was flat and he said he was surprised but that he would fix it if i brought it in again. I brought the car in the next day and was made to feel like i was a leper and was the recipient of some very dirty looks from some of the other mechanics and the one that was fixing my car refused to speak to me or my husband until we kept on prompting him and then it was only to tell us what we already knew. DISGRACEFUL SERVICE, AND DISGUSTING BEHAVIOUR, I WILL NOT USE THIS GARAGE AGAIN .
