The HiQ fast fit network’s nationwide search for a grid girl is over as 24-year-old Jodi Hall from Brackley has beaten nine other entrants to be crowned the winner of the competition.
HiQ scoured Britain for a candidate to represent the brand and its partnership with Breast Cancer Care at the final round of Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship racing at Brands Hatch in October. Now, after thousands of votes were cast and verified, Jodi Hall has been named HiQ Grid Girl 2012.
Jodi said: “I can’t believe I’ve won. I didn’t expect it - I feel excited and nervous all at once! I have a huge passion for motorsport and to be on the grid as Mat Jackson’s Grid Girl is a dream come true!”
Jodi will not only don the iconic pink jumpsuit to be the grid girl for Redstone Racing and BTCC championship hopeful Mat Jackson, but she will represent the culmination of a 36 month education and fundraising campaign for the brand as it works to reach its £100,000 fundraising target for Breast Cancer Care.
HiQ's marketing manager Geraldine McGovern said: "Jodi is a lovely girl and we know she’ll do a great job on the grid! We are delighted that she will be representing HiQ at Brands Hatch and we hope to make the day unforgettable for her.”
