Real life Heroes don't hide their identities behind cunning disguises, but their actions still go largely unrecognised.

The HiQ Heroes campaign aims to change all that.

Our judging panel have selected 10 finalists from the long list of extra-ordinary nominees and now it's your turn to vote for your favourite.

One national winner will receive £5000 for a community project.

10 regional winners can look forward to an unforgettable Grand Final to be held at a West Midlands location for a drinks reception with our HiQ celebrity, Sally Gunnell OBE in mid November 2010.

  • The winner of HiQ Heroes competition will receive: £500 cash prize, plus £5000 for a local community project
  • 9 Regional runners up: £250 cash prize
