Project Pink
Ask not what your charity can do for you - ask what you can do for your charity!
That's the message to every HiQ fast fit centre across the UK as the fast fit network attempts to hit the £100,000 mark for Breast Cancer Care.
After raising £50,000 for the vital cause in 2009, HiQ is now passing the baton to its network of 140 centres in a bid to raise a further £50,000.
If each store raises £300 throughout the year, then HiQ will hit the £100,000 mark that it pledged to reach when the charity partnership was originally agreed 12 months ago.
HiQ Breast Cancer Care Progress
Help us to reach our target of £100,000.
We've currently raised £50,000
Every penny counts
The £50,000 we have raised to date is enough to pay for:
- 100,000 people to have access to the Breast Cancer Care website or
- 2173 calls to Breast Cancer Care's free confidential helpline or
- 980 appointments with Breast Cancer Care's Headstrong service, which helps cancer sufferers deal with hair loss or
- 490 place at Breast Cancer Care's group therapy information sessions or
- 215 new volunteers to be trained
You could be the next HiQ Grid Girl
Following a successful 2009 Grid Girl competition, HiQ will be giving you the chance to become a 2010 Dunlop BTCC Grid Girl.
