Finally… the British Touring Car Championship is back! Have we all missed it? I know I for one have! British Touring Car Championship
Here at HiQ, our love of all things four wheeled extends far beyond fixing them.
For over a decade HiQ has been part of the UK’s premier racing series the British Touring Car Championship. The BTCC continues to be one of the best loved, most illustrious and famous British Motorsport Championships and with trackside crowds bigger then Premiership matches and millions watching on TV the pressure really is on for drivers to bring home those championship points.
At HiQ we know that whilst drivers are the face of their teams there’s a pit lane full of dedicated, specialist individuals who help make the magic happen. That’s why HiQ are proud to sponsor the BTCC Teams Championship.
To celebrate our partnership we’re giving BTCC fans some amazing opportunities to get close to the action from ticket give aways through social media, voting for your HiQ Driver of the Day to your chance to prove you’re the biggest BTCC fan out there with our #HiQSuperFan photography competition. Check out our BTCC news to find out how you could be part of the hottest championship on the grid.
Not only that we are also bringing you the inside scoop with the help from fans favourite BTCC’s very own Rob Austin. As official HiQ blogger he will be dishing the dirt on his season with his candid reports on the thrills and spills of the track.
Well that’s it, the 2016 Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship is now over. Congratulations to our champion Gordon Shedden, a worthy victor, and commiserations to Sam Tordoff who had led the championship for so long only to lose it during the final race of the season. I have to say, I admire how Sam handled himself throughout, I’m really not sure I could have been so composed in his situation.Continue Reading Rob's End of Season Blog!
