Big lift for car service and tyres in Bognor Regis

A tyre and vehicle repair centre in Bognor Regis is boasting one of the largest car ramps in the county as the brand new HiQ store opens for business. The new service centre on Oldlands Way employs seven staff and specialises in repairs, MOTs and tyres.

HiQ Bognor Regis is a significant but natural development for owner Alex Mclean who has built and acquired other specialist car repair businesses in the area over the past twenty years. The new centre at 11,500 sq ft is more than double Mr Mclean’s previous premises and reflects the £100,000 investment in new equipment which includes state of the art electronic diagnostic tools for all makes and a 5.5 metre, 5 tonne capacity MOT bay which means that all non-commercial vehicles up to and including the size of large campervans can be repaired and tested.

Alex said: “It is the right time for us to expand, rebrand and become part of the national HiQ network of Fast-Fit centres. HiQ has the same ethos of service and value as we do and it gives us the opportunity to gain some significant business benefits.

“We are pleased that we’ve been able to acquire a property in the right part of town and equip it to our own specifications, so that we can handle all sizes of vehicle. We do have a reputation for our expertise with Land Rover vehicles and we attract customers from far and wide. Now we have the space and extra capacity to handle even more.”

He added: “This is a very convenient location for customers and In the coming weeks we hope to be installing HiQ branding on the side of our building facing Shripney Road which will make us even easier to find.”
