One of the nation's most popular fast fit networks has heralded its Stafford centre as a 'model of automotive excellence' after it was radically transformed with a £100,000 investment.

HiQ Stafford, based on Foregate Street, has undergone an extensive refurbishment, boasting eye catching new branding, new customer friendly environment and a fully automated MOT test lane.

The centre will officially re-launch with a trio of open days on Thursday February 10, Friday February 11 and Saturday February 12.

Centre manager Jim Turner - who has built up years of automotive experience from working in the town - and his team will also provide free tyre checks and tips to all motorists over the weekend, to ensure that their weekend journeys are carried out as safely as possible.

Refreshments will be available for visitors along with various tyre discounts and Chris Kisby, managing director of franchisee Easy Autocentres, will officially cut the red ribbon with HiQ retail director Peter Tye on Thursday February 10.

In addition, £1 from every invoice raised during the days will go to Breast Cancer Care, HiQ's chosen charity for 2011.

A free prize draw and a chance to meet HiQ's famous 'pink ladies' will also be arranged as part of the festivities.

The Foregate Street centre has undergone the facelift to become Staffordshire 'flagship facility for motorists.'

HiQ's retail director Peter Tye said: "HiQ Stafford really is a model of excellence for many other centres to follow, in terms of its new appearance and standards both inside the store and on the forecourt.

"It has been brought in line with our award winning corporate identity, which all of our centres will boast by the end of 2011."

HiQ Stafford's centre manager Jim Turner said: "We hope to see continued improvement in a number of areas now the refurbishment has taken place, from business figures, through to customer feedback.

"We felt that it was vitally important to officially open the centre with some events to remember and we are looking forward to seeing as many people as possible."

HiQ Stafford is owned by Easy Autocentres, the largest HiQ franchise with 24 stores across the Midlands.
