A local fast fit centre in town is teaming up with the Garrison social club to host an evening of entertainment in aid of Breast Cancer Care - and inviting you to join them.
This Friday (29th October) HiQ Bodmin is inviting local residents to come along to the Garrison club for a night dedicated to raising funds for the charity and encouraging attendees to wear pink for the cause.
Throughout the evening there will be a disco as well as plenty of fundraising activities including a charity raffle as Justin Roberton, franchisee of HiQ Bodmin explains.
He said: "There is lots of activity planned to make this an enjoyable and fun evening for all.
"It is great to organise an evening where we can raise money for such a great cause and it's open to anyone so we hope to see you there."
Throughout October, the HiQ network has challenged each one of its 150 centres to raise £275 and HiQ Bodmin is hoping to reach their target with the money collected this Friday.
HiQ's marketing manager Geraldine McGovern said: "Well done to Justin and the team for arranging an evening like this for Breast Cancer Care.
"It promises to be a great success with lots of money raised."
Advanced tickets are £1.50 and can be bought at HiQ on West End or the Garrison Social Club on Omaha Road. Tickets on the door are £3 or £2 if attendees arrive in pink fancy dress.
