HiQ the fast fit network turned itself pink once again in October in a bid to raise money for long supported charity, Breast Cancer Care. HiQ has been supporting Breast Cancer Care since 2009 and in that time has raised over £100,000 for the charity. Its push to hit the £120,000 target sees franchisees and HiQ employees take part various ‘project pink’ activities in the month of October.
The fast fit network has been busy raising money across the country last month hosting raffles, dress pink days, tea and cake parties and selling pink ribbons to visitors to edge closer to the target, giving customers and supporters the opportunity to donate online and via text.
Farrell Dolan the Retail Director of the franchisee network took on the biggest half marathon in the midlands; the Great Birmingham run to help raise money for Breast Cancer Care, completing the course in an impressive 1 hour 44 minutes.
The HiQ team at its Birmingham Headquarters raised an impressive £1,700 throughout the month through a range of activities such as ‘all pink everything’, an awareness day that saw the office, its people, its food, and cake turn to pink.
HiQ Marketing Manager, Geraldine McGovern commented on the success of the month: “Yet another Pink October has been a fantastic success, our national network of franchised stores are busy counting up their Centre collections now which we know will boost our final figure. Every penny raised this month helps us get that bit closer to our target, we are very grateful for the amazing support we have received from franchisees, internal staff and customers - it has been a big effort all round for a very worthy cause.”If you would like to donate to Breast Cancer Care, simply click this link and visit our JustGiving page
