I am extremely impressed by the phenomenal service at HiQ, Mark was extremely helpful, took the time to explain everything I asked about the alignment, I feel like I'm driving a whole new car! Thanks lads, really appreciate it :) Dom

Where do I start? First of all, one of the best customer experiences I’ve ever had. Exceptional service is an understatement. I needed the tyre changed on my Mercedes S Class, after discovering a screw and nail on the inner wall, rendering my tyre unrepairable. I’ve had tyres changed on cars many times… we all have… some places do a good job first time round, then next time you go, scratch your alloys when they put the tyre back on. Some places completely ruin your alloys from the outset, leaving you with a set of kerbed alloys, and the response, ‘prove we did it’ when you question them. Again, we’ve all been there. This place though… this is different. Not only are the staff really friendly, and professional… they have a relentless passion for cars and driving, and it really shows. My S Class is like my other kid. I love it. So, when the guys at Hi-Q said, ‘Don’t worry, we’ll look after your baby’, I knew they understood what it meant, to treat my car as one of their own. Something daft, I know, but to me, it meant a lot. Now… this is where the first issue became apparent (not through Hi-Q, but through another garage I took it to a few days prior to visiting, and where the screws were discovered). It turns out, they’d massively over tightened the wheel bolts, when putting the wheel back on my car. Tony at Hi-Q advised that they were reluctant to cause any damage to my wheel and/or bolts, and suggested I took it back to the garage to see if they could loosen the bolts, and re-torque with them using a torque wrench, and not power tools. They kept trying, but in the end were sure they might damage the wheel, and said this is something they couldn’t bring themselves to do. As I was already put off by the other garage, I asked if they could keep trying, and suggested that I would be prepared to pay for new bolts should they ‘need’ to break them off in order to get my wheel off. Tony went back to it, and spent ages trying to carefully wrestle with the bolts, and eventually succeeded without any damage to the bolt, or my wheel. I was really impressed. He showed me where the bolt had threaded towards the base, when it was put back on. He then proceeded to remove the tyre, and kept my wheel looking pristine. Then we hit the second problem. This one was my fault. It was immediately apparent that the tyre I’d ordered from their website, had a completely different tread pattern to the original, and was almost like a racing slick. So I asked if they could order one with the exact same tread pattern, which they did there and then, and advised it would be here after 10am the next day, and to come in after I finished work, and they’d fit it for me. Tony then put the original tyre back on, re-balanced the wheel and pumped it back up, just so I could get back home, then back to the garage the next day. Again, no damage at all to my alloy. It’s now the day after, and I’ve returned home from Hi-Q with the correct tyre, this time installed by Mark, the Manager. As per, my new tyre threw up a few problems for Mark, as it would not seal on the alloy, due to the stiffness of the reinforced side wall. Mark threw everything at it, and tried different methods to get the tyre to eventually ‘pop’ back onto the alloy. He stressed he could’ve done it easily first time round, but didn’t want to risk scuffing my wheel. This, I really appreciated. Then there’s the extra ‘going above and beyond’, that surpassed every expectation I had… Mark then went into the office, and got his personal collection of car detailing products, and cleaned my wheel. Then, he went to the boot of his car, and cleaned my leather steering wheel, back to factory matte finish, using this ‘miracle juice’, or at least, that’s what I called it!! It was actually a dedicated leather cleaner… but miracle juice sounds so much better, doesn’t it!! Suffice to say, this is the only place I will ever bring my cars to, for tyres. To say they go above and beyond, is a disservice to them. They are simply the best. Amazing. David Ryan Ager

Bought tyres online and booked with them, really professional and friendly lads Mark and Tony. Great communication, calling back and confirming times. Well presented clean workshop that is customer focussed with small little waiting area all ammenities you need. Will be back! j
