Interim Car service
Our interim service is recommended for high mileage drivers who want peace of mind between annual services.WHAT IS AN INTERIM CAR SERVICE?
In addition to oil renewal and filter replacement, an interim car service covers several visual system checks from suspension springs to brake pads and discs. It also includes fluid top ups for your power steering reservoir, anti-freeze and washer fluid.
DO I NEED AN INTERIM SERVICE?
Our interim service is recommended for high mileage drivers who want peace of mind between annual services or for those who frequently do short journeys in around town. Many new vehicles will alert you with the type of service that is due. We always recommend referring to your manufacturers handbook or calling one of our centres for guidance.
WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN AN INTERIM AND MAJOR SERVICE?
A full service is a more thorough inspection of your vehicle with a 53-point check that includes replacement air filters, pollen filters, external fuel filter and spark plugs (where required). We recommend a full service every 12 months or 12,000 miles however you should always refer to your manufacturers servicing schedules.

*Certain vehicles use specialist oils, if the manufacturer advises your car needs a premium oil we will advise before commencing any work if any additional costs are involved
**In rare cases certain car makes carry premium priced fuel filters. If this is applicable to your vehicle then we will always advise before commencing the work if there would be an additional cost for your vehicle
***Applies to standard spark plugs. If your vehicle carries long life spark plugs or similar we will advise if there are any additional costs before commencing any work
****Some HiQ Centres complete visual checks on the brake drums, shoes, pads and discs and do not remove the wheels, please check before booking.
