MOT Class 5

MOT testing for private passenger vehicle, playbuses and ambulances.

MOT testing for private passenger vehicle, playbuses and ambulances.

A Ministry of Transport (MOT) certificate is required for Class 5 vehicles aged one year and must be renewed annually.

What is a Class 5 vehicle?

Class 5 MOT testing covers private passenger vehicles with 13 or more seats, playbuses and ambulances. A class 5A test covers these vehicles with the inclusions of a seatbelt installation check. The Class 5 MOT requires a specialist MOT tester and is not offered at all of our centres.
