I recently discovered a slow puncture on my iX3 and booked it in for a repair. I had managed to locate the source and it was in the trade so I thought “great should be able to repair it”. This was a relief as my tyres were at 6mm and I didn’t really want to have to replace. However when I took it in they advised that it couldn’t be replaced to the angle of the puncture. I was waiting for the “it will need a new tyre at £xxx oh and you’ll need to do both sides”, which is the line I’ve heard with every other puncture. However I was surprised when what I was actually told was, “we’re building it back up, take it to this place and they should be able to fix it” This is the second time I’ve used HiQ Somercotes and both times I’ve been impressed. So in summary, although they could have sold me 2 new tyres, instead they advised what was best for ME and not their bottom line. Great customer service and I will definitely return when I need new tyres Chris Heathcote
