We have been waiting for a long time for this moment and it has finally arrived… BTCC is back!
The Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship’s 60th anniversary campaign has sparked into life last weekend at Brands Hatch, with arguably the most decorated line-up in its history, full of race winners and five champions that prepare themselves to battle for the most coveted prize in British motorsport.
The past weekend saw Tom Ingram winning the final British Touring Car Championship race at Brands Hatch to move into the lead of the drivers' standings after the opening three rounds of the campaign.
Tom overtook the leader Rob Austin's HMS Racing Alfa Romeo as the pair began lap 13 and then powered clear to an untroubled victory.
Behind Austin, reigning champion Ash Sutton hauled his Team BMR Subaru Levorg to a fourth place finish with a late move on Team Hard's Mike Bushell.
Bushell had earlier been involved in an incident with Ollie Jackson going into Clearways.
Brands Hatch Indy showed us the new cars in full racing mode and we are looking forward for the next round at Donington Park!
