The spirits of a Deeside motorist have been topped up to maximum levels, after winning £1,500 worth of free fuel from the HiQ fast fit network.
Kevin Whittle, of Hillside Avenue, completed a customer satisfaction survey at his nearby HiQ Queensferry centre before Christmas, as part of HiQ's ongoing campaign to improve customer service levels across the network's 150 centres.
Little did he know that within a few weeks of giving his views on HiQ, he would be picked at random to receive the bounty of fuel vouchers.
The HiQ 'Mirror Hanger' campaign has targeted over 3,500 customers since being introduced in November 2009, with more than 91 per cent of HiQ's 150 centres taking part.
Mr Whittle's details were picked at random and he can now look forward to months of free petrol purchases.
He said: "I am completely gobsmacked to have won this prize, I really am! I didn't expect to hear anything from HiQ when I completed my mirror hanger form, particularly considering that thousands of other customers have also given their feedback.
"It is a wonderful prize to win, and I'll be using my vouchers carefully."
HiQ's Marketing Manager Geraldine McGovern said: "We'd like to congratulate Kevin, who we hope to see at our HiQ Queensferry centre again soon.
"On a wider level, our mirror hanger programme is a vitally important component in our long term aim to improving customer satisfaction levels.
"We already have strong standards, but we need to constantly improve what we do on a daily basis.
