I called and spoke to Steve as I needed some unusual sized tyres. Additionally I wasn’t sure about the condition of my front tyres. Advised me to drop in and was met by Steve who was both friendly and helpful but equally important very honest - he assessed my front tyres and confirmed them fit without any consideration to trying to gain an additional sale. Steve was able to get the tyres I needed (which I was very specific about brand and range) within less than 24hrs. I was back the following morning and the tyres fitted promptly and professionally. I drove past a number of thtimes main competitors to get to HiQ and would do so again. Quality service. Friendly service and honest and to the point appraisals with no upselling - I don’t think you could ask for any more.

Having taken my cars to this garage for many years (previously called rapid fit)I have always been satisfied with the service they have provided and always been reasonable with prices. However after the service I received today has left a bitter taste in my mouth. I originally got quoted a price when I had the mot done and have since been in touch to have the work done. On both occasion I was quoted the same price for the job. However today when I went to pick up the vehicle they decided that they wanted to charge me more than double the price of what was quoted originally. I asked the manager to re look at the price and asked why on 2 occasions 2 different member s of staff quoted the same price as what I was told originally. To which I had the response of I don’t know. The manager decided to just knock a couple of quid off the price and said that I’ll take some money off the next time your in for more work. which didn’t even come close to the original quote and he was more concerned in his profit margins and lining his pockets than honouring a price quoted by his staff more than once. I for one work in the customer service industry and it’s the right thing to do if you want to retain a customers business. It would of been better to have broken even as a result of their mistake than still be concerned with lining their pockets. Especially as a one off. Had I’d of known that they were going to charge me more than double what I was quoted I would of taken my business elsewhere but once the work was completed they had me over a barrel. The result of this also put me overdrawn with the bank as id budgeted to allow for the original quoted price. Over the years they’ve had thousands of pounds of money for work on cars. Well after today they’ve had the last penny from me for anything.

I came to have my MOT done. I was referred by a friend from work. The staff were very friendly and professional. One of them, Mark kept coming out to tell me what they were going to my car, what was wrong and what they were doing to fix it. I was very happy with the service I received from HiQ. I will definitely be recommending them to my friends and family.

Had mot carried out here , few defects found but rectification work very reasonably priced and quickly carried out , site looks great after recent refurbishment and re brand. Thanks R Morgan

I recently booked to have 3 tyres fitted. Was given a date and time. I turned up 10 minutes early. On arriving I was greeted by a fitter who said won’t be long it’s been hectic today. I could see into the workshop,only one car having work done and 3 guys stood around talking. I waited approx 30 minutes and my car was moved ,not into the workshop but to an external parking bay. Nearly an hour had passed before it was put on the ramp,the tyre fitter seemed to show no interest and was very slow about anything he did. In the meanwhile the other two men were stood about talking in the reception area about getting a Costco account. At no time did anyone appear to show any interest in the waiting customer. The majority of the time I was there my car was the only one allegedly being worked on. Then to put the icing on the cake while my car was on the ramp there appeared a decorator with a roller on a pole painting the wall next to my car with white emulsion. Needless to say my car was flecked all over with paint. I pointed this out to the service manager and informed him I have now been her nearly 2 hours to get 3 tyres changed. The service manger did get the paint problem sorted and apologised over the length of time. I don’t think any formula one team will be headhunting anyone from here anytime soon, and a free paint job with every 3 tyres must be a selling technique. A new franchise recently rebranded , think the staff need a lesson in customer perception. ,
