One of HiQ's most resepcted franchisees has realised a five year dream by opening an £80,000 fast fit centre in Henley, in one of our biggest success stories of the year.

HiQ franchisee Phil Godfrey has expanded his group of Oxfordshire garages by finalising a deal to operate a centre in Fairview Estate, creating five new jobs in the process.

Phil said that the Reading Road site would be one of the most technologically advanced anywhere, boasting a comprehensive range of automotive services and the latest Snap On diagnostic equipment - including full MOT testing facilities and an Air Con dedicated bay..

Phil already owns HiQ centres in Abingdon, Carterton and Banbury and has been looking to bring a presence to Henley for five years.

And he is already drawing up plans to open three more fast fit centres in Oxfordshire in the near future in a huge boost to the local economy.

He said: "The potential in Henley is enormous. It has always been a dream to open a garage in the town and despite searching for a suitable opportunity for five years it has been worth the wait.

"We will boast an eight bay workshop and will cater for the needs of all motorists in the area.

"We have already conducted extensive traffic reports and data capture about the town and its demographics. The results suggest we will be successful if we give customers what they want and create a compelling retail experience for them.

"We are committed to delivering a personal service to our customers. The Service technicians have gained Automotive Technician Accreditations in all fields of vehicle servicing and repair and they are all local lads who know the area well.

"We have decided to invest heavily into new technology to enable us to service and maintain all makes of vehicle regardless of their age. We also hold the largest stock of tyres for cars 4x4's and vans which means we can provide a fully comprehensive service to our customers - whatever their requirements."
